If you’re in New Hampshire on Thursday, September 4th, WMUR (Channel 9 at 7:30) is rebroadcasting the One Thousand Tracings interview with Lita on NH Chronicle. I thought it was a nicely done segment! I posted a version of the show here a few months ago. The show was filmed in the summer of 2007 and they first aired it in September 2007.

I saw the segment on NH Chronicle when it first aired and again tonight. Your illustrations are fabulous! I am especially interested in this book, since my mother was the recipient of several care packages after the war in Germany (she was 4 years old when the war ended). She often tells stories about getting these gifts; in addition to the shoes, she and her sisters were most excited about American chocolate and bubble gum. I am planning on getting a copy of your story for my own children, since the history is an important part of their heritage–thanks for the wonderful topic!
